Ejected ! Dejected ? No !

This lovely image appears to have got me thrown out of one challenge.  Is this a first I wonder?  So as not to offend again, I shall be entering it in only one challenge this week.  So Kenny Ks Krafty Krew - you are my only hope for this weekend's blog entry, but as it is one of Kenny K's images, surely you can't eject me !

A Spot of Sauce

This Valentine card is a personal joke between me and an old friend.  What luck when someone passed me ribbon with the exact "joke" printed on it!  I used an old Sketch Saturday base as I think it suits the image well.  The image is courtesy of Kenny K.  I carefully removed the present using Windows Paint, and flipped it over in Word.  Again another really simple plain card, but I love it and I know the recipient will smile from ear to ear when he receives it.

Sometimes I wonder what the DT guys are looking for in a card.  There's so much talent out there, and I think my cards are just way to simple in comparison.  Craft is an evolving talent though...so I shall keep on evolving and see what it brings.

Another commission - this time for an a young mum who has turned 18.  Another gem of a digi image from Kirsta.  It lends itself to soft warm but pastel summery tones don't you think?

A bow for a beau

A commission for my sister this time.  A 50th birthday card for her boyfriend.  A chance for a little sauce me thinks!  The skin tone looks great in daylight. Shame about the photo.  Anyway...I keep doing these challenges and when I look at the competition...well it's tough, so I guess the quality of the photo is not a deal breaker.

On yer bike !

I hate doing cards for men !  Especially when someone wants a theme.  Someone wanted a bike related card and the most suitable digi I could find is from Kenny K.  All of the bike stamps out there were either really childish or old manish, but Kenny K came up trumps for this commission I hope.

50 shades ? Oh go on then...

My friend's wife likes her 50 Shades trilogy.  That was a good excuse to use yet another of Krista's digi stamps.  I am using Sketch Saturday's sketch for a second time this week - mainly because it's simplicity is right up my street.  When I look at all the cards that win every week I wonder if mine are just too bare.  I don't like clutter on my cards - that's saved for my craft table instead !
